Where is the Fossa located in Fiss
Where we are - and how
you can get to us
This FOSSA is located at the upper edge of the village of Fiss, on the Oberer Trujenweg. It’s a quiet side street with no through traffic
yet you’re in the village centre in just 3 minutes.
Guests staying with us usually leave their car parked for the entire week.
Everything on foot
The following times are not estimates. We measured them along the actual walking routes –
not as the crow flies.
The route to the village is downhill, and uphill on the way back – easily manageable with a pram and cleared in winter.
To help you visualise it, we’ve drawn a map showing the house, the village, the cable car, the Wolfsee lake and the two supermarkets, with all the walking times.
From us on foot
Village centre Fiss 225 m, 3 minutes
Berta’s Kindervilla 517 m, 6 minutes
Supermarket T&G, Fisser Straße 6, 544 m 7 minutes
Valley station of the mountain railways, 761 m 10 minutes
Berta’s Kinderland 764 m, 10 minutes
Wolf Lake 885 m, 11 minutes
MPREIS, Fisser Straße 37, 922 m 12 minutes
Arrival
Our apartments are available for check-in from 2:00 PM, and you can check out by 9:30 AM.
If you arrive early, you can park your car and check in at our reception desk – perhaps your apartment
will already be ready.
If you're visiting in winter: you don’t need to carry your ski equipment back to the house every day.
There is a ski depot at the valley station, and further details can be found under our services.
And if you get lost or your train is delayed: just give us a call on +43 660 8027763.
We’re available to assist, and if we miss your call, we’ll call you back promptly.
On a map, paths always seem longer.
Fiss is a small village – everything marked here can be reached comfortably on foot.
By car
Our address for the sat-nav: Oberer Trujenweg 2, 6533 Fiss.
If you are coming from Germany or the Netherlands, you can take the Fernpass or travel via Kufstein and Innsbruck on the A12. From Vorarlberg and Switzerland, take the Arlberg route, and from Italy, the Reschen Pass. After the Oberinntal junction, take the B180, exit at Ried im Oberinntal and follow the mountain road up to Fiss. The last few kilometres are well developed, cleared in winter and accessible to all cars.
Each apartment has a parking space right by the house. We do not have an electric vehicle charging station.
